Pet Policies

WRIGHT HOUSE & HARBOR HILL HOUSE in BAYFIELD, WI

We accept dogs on a case-by-case basis at the Wright House and the Harbor Hill House.  Open Air Places requests guests with pets be pre-approved prior to check in, and guests will need to pay a $150 pet fee in addition to the standard nightly rate.

GUIDELINES

  • We prefer that pets sleep in a kennel and not on the beds due to allergy issues for future guests.

  • We ask that your dogs nails are kept trimmed as we want to maintain our hardwood floors.

  • No dogs may be left unattended at any time. It is also vital that a valid contact number of one owner is given and this number is monitored at all times.

  • When outside of the home, dogs must stay on a leash at all times. We share our property with many species of wild animals native to the area, including bears, coyotes and deer and foxes. We ask that you do not allow your dog to chase or disturb the wildlife.

  • Dog owners are responsible for the proper removal and disposal of their pets' waste products.

  • Excessive barking or whining that leads to neighbors complaining will result in:

Cancelation of the reservation on the third complaint - If the pet is not quiet and we receive three noise complaints you will be asked to make alternative arrangements elsewhere. At the time of cancellation, the guest will be charged for the nights stayed and the current nights Room & Tax.

  • Be aware that extra fees may be incurred should there be significant additional cleaning required or lost revenue due to excessive damage by pets.

  • We thank you for abide by these policies, and agree to be responsible for any damage to property caused by your pet.
