As I write this blog from the spacious porch of the HARBOR HILL HOUSE in Bayfield, Wisconsin the morning sun is turning Lake Superior into bed of shimmering diamonds.
The Madeline Island Ferry is making it’s morning crossing over to Madeline Island, and the air around me is scented with the sweet smell of the flowers hanging heavy in their baskets.
I feel lucky to be in this place, enjoying a cup of coffee with the splendor of nature surrounding me.
THE HARBOR HILL HOUSE
Located just two blocks from the heart of downtown Bayfield, Wisconsin the Harbor Hill House has a long history of welcoming guests. Modern Victorian in design, this house is spacious enough to accommodate 11 people, making it the perfect place for family and friends to gather for a weekend.
Fully furnished with all of the conveniences of home, a full-size kitchen, dining area and outdoor porch with it’s sweeping views of sparkling Lake Superior make this one of Bayfield’s most unique places to stay. The gardens are a pleasure to walk through in any season.
